The Ephorate of Antiquities of Imathia and the Directorate of Secondary Education of Imathia are collaborating once again for the fifth year to organize the educational program called "Ambassadors of Museums and Monuments". The main objective of this program is to enhance the awareness of the school community regarding the protection and promotion of our cultural heritage.

For the 2023-2024 academic year, the focus will be on the Archaeological Site of Mieza. As part of this initiative, a student day was held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. During this event, Dr. Anastasia Georgiadou, archaeologist, and Foto Papargyroudis, museum educator, provided training to both teachers and students. The group of 120 participants had the opportunity to explore the Ancient Theater of Mieza, the Nymphaeum, and the Macedonian Tombs of Judgement ("Kriseos"), Palmettes ("Anthemion").
