The Ephorate of Antiquities of Imathia is pleased to announce the opening of museums and archeological sites of the Imathia District under the extended, summer schedule, from Saturday, April 16, 2022. Our museums will be open in accordance with the current health protocols, posted at the entrance of each museum and archeological site.

Opening hours in detail:

• Museum of the Royal Tombs. Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00.

• New Aigai Museum (from June): Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00.

• Archaeological Museum of Veria. Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00

• Byzantine Museum of Veria. Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00.

• Old Metropolis of Veria. Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00.

• Archaeological site of St. Patapios: Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00.

• Archaeological site of Aigai: Theater and park of the Tombs Cemetery and the Royal Burial Cluster of Temenides: Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00.

• Archaeological site of Mieza: Nymphaeon and the Theater: Wednesday-Monday: 08: 00-20: 00, Tuesday: 12: 00-20: 00.

 On Easter Sunday and the day of the celebration of May the 1st our museums will remain closed, while on Good Friday they will be open from 12:00 to 17:00 and on Holy Saturday from 8:30 to 15:30.
